I was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in nearby Braintree. I first discovered my love for clay while enrolled in my AP Portfolio class during senior year of high school. I
received my BFA from the
Maine College of Artin Portland, Maine. I started out with taking hand building freshman
year and went on to throwing. My thesis
work from MECA was all slip cast. I am currently making
work at
Mudflat Studios in
Somerville, Massachusetts. I use bisque molds with a derivative from European Ceramics as my primary means of making. Recently I have incorporated a whole new range on techniques into my work. I'm very much looking forward to the coming year as process of applying to graduate school begins. My work can be seen at the Mudflat
gallery in Porter Square, Cambridge, Boutique Fabulous in Inman Square, Cambridge and in my online
etsy shop. I currently live in South Boston with my partner, and our two crazy cats, Sprocket and Cogswell.
